INDIA GO TEAM CAR WASH

Our India Go Team will be heading to Little Flock Children’s Home in a rural village near Chennai. Please help us raise funds to go to India by getting your car washed on Saturday, September 25th from 9am-2pm at Calvary Church. Thank you in advance for your support!

CALVARY CHURCH HONORS BOB & SALLY WITTERS
After 22 years of dedicated service at Calvary, Bob & Sally Witters are retiring to their ranch in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Bob and Sally have attended Calvary since 1988 the year they moved to California from Ohio.
Bob has been the Church Administrator for 13 years and has touched each and every staff person with his passion for ministry and his love of people. Prior to Calvary Bob was in the Air Force and later worked for the Air Force as a civilian. He has also worked for several high tech companies in the Valley as CFO. Bob was the Business Administrator for San Jose Christian College prior to joining Calvary's staff. Sally recently retired from the Los Gatos Public Library.
Bob and Sally were members of the choir, attended the PeopleBuilders Sunday School class, participated in several small groups and Bob has also taught Crown financial management classes.
On Sunday, September 12, Calvary Church will host an open house for Bob & Sally to celebrate their years of service at Calvary Church. The open house will held from 4-6pm in Parkside 1 & 2. We will miss Bob's warm smile around the office but we wish Bob & Sally a lifetime of happiness at their ranch in New Mexico.

AWANA KICK-OFF on SEPT 12th!
September-May every Sunday
5:00pm - 6:30pm
We’re very excited about the upcoming Awana year, which starts on September 12th. All children ages 3 through 6th grades are welcome to join this Christian scouting-type program, which emphasizes spiritual growth through biblical training, combined with lots of fun! The program includes games, prizes, scripture memory, incentives, uniforms, fun Bible lessons and more. Awana meets at Calvary on Sunday evenings from 5:00-6:30pm in the Education and Family Life Center buildings. We hope to see you there!

Are you new to Calvary? Are you ready to take the next step in your faith? Join Pastor Bob Thomas in this new and exciting setting as he leads and teaches our Become Workshop. Each workshop will be followed by a six-week small group with a great facilitator, where you will be able to continue to grow and learn what it means to be a TWO:6 Disciple.
