Go Tell It Christmas Production

GET YOUR TICKETS FOR GO TELL IT ON SUNDAY

Join us for the first year of Calvary's original Christmas production of "Go. Tell It. The Greatest Story Never Sold.," written and directed by one of Calvary's own members. Tickets are $10 and go on sale on Sunday, November 22nd after the service in the Worship Center Lobby. Buy your ticket early before all the good seats are g one. All proceeds will go towards Advent Conspiracy projects.

GOT A HOME FOR CHILDREN IN NEED?

Siblings, 3 and 5, were recently turned down by Advent’s Christian foster agency, because we had no home available. We want these children and others to be placed into Christian homes where they receive the message of God’s love. Is God calling you to provide the love and security that children like these need? JOIN THE ADVENT CONSPIRACY

Shopping lists. Traffic jams. Debt. Stress. Emptiness. Is this was Christmas is really all about? Christmas can still change the world. The story of Christ's birth is a story of promise, hope, and love. What if Christmas became a world-changing event again?

Last year, Calvary Church asked the question..."Do we really need...?" This year, we are asking the question..."Do they really need...?" This Christmas season, Calvary is joining the Advent Conspiracy.

SPEND LESS....We all like gifts. But consider this: How often have you bought or received Christmas presents for no other reason than obligation? WHAT IF you buy just ONE LESS GIFT this Christmas? Just one.

LOVE ALL....Instead of buying that one present, how about if we give the GIFT OF PRESENCE? Find a way to serve those around you....your family, your neighbors, your community, your world. What difference would time make to those around us?

GIVE MORE....Then with the money we save,we can CHANGE LIVES. Money designated under Advent Conspiracy will go towards helping our ministry partners in Cambodia build two wells for rural communities who have no clean water and providing a Christmas dinner for seniors in our community.

WORSHIP FULLY....Christmas is a season where we are called to put down our burdens and lift a song up to our God. It starts with Jesus and it ends with Jesus. As we celebrate the season of advent this year, gather together with us on for 3 services on Christmas Eve (4pm, 6pm and 8pm) to WORSHIP THE KING of all kings!

LOVE SPORTS?

You can make a direct impact on children while teaching them basketball. Over the past 5 years, the Calvary Youth Basketball league has grown to over 1,000 participants. We need coaches, assistants, score clock operators and referees. The commitment is 2 hours per week, and training is available.

Explore Groups

NEW EXPLORE GROUP NOW MEETS TUESDAYS @ 7:00PM

Got questions? About God? About Faith? About living for Christ? Explore Groups are a safe place for you to begin your journey. Participants meet with others who are asking the same questions and have the opportunity to discover those answers together.

Most Explore Groups meet around our community - in homes and in coffee shops. But we do have one Explore Group that meets on campus. Every Tuesday night at 7:00pm, an Explore Groups meets in room D-112. If you or someone you know is interested, contact Renee Haken at srhaken@aim.com.

DECK THE HALLS

If you enjoy decorating for the holidays, come help Calvary "Deck the Halls". We will be meeting on December 5th from 9am - 12N to get our Worship Center ready for Christmas. For more information, contact Bonnie Turner at bturner@calvarylg.com.

CELEBRATE THANKSGIVING WITH OUR FAMILY

On Sunday, November 29th, Calvary Church will host one special Thanksgiving Service at 10:45am in the Worship Center. You are your family are invited to join us as we give thanks to God for all he has done for us this year.
