Why We Sing

Why We Sing | Jan 8, 2023

It is a new year, a new season, and this morning we joined together in two services, worshipping and praising the one worthy of our praise.

In his message today, Pastor Dale unpacked why we sing in church. Not what we sing or how we sing, but the reason why. As a church, when we sing together, we breathe in and out at the same time, we pause together and sing words together, and in all of this, we align ourselves with one another as we join the worship already taking place in heaven. Church is a place where we come together and sing about hope, faith, Jesus as Lord, and the Holiness of God. It is an act that believes for something different. An act where for a few minutes, we share in something heavenly together.

For some of you, singing with others comes easily. We need you. For others, it may not feel as comfortable. We need you too, to come, to join us at church, and for you it may begin with listening and singing along in your heart. When you feel ready, we invite you to lift your voice with us as we join with the angels in Heaven to worship our King.
