We all have moments when we desire change. We feel stuck, frustrated, or unhappy with our current situation. We set goals, make resolutions, and try to move forward, but somewhere along the way, we lose momentum and drift back into old patterns. In this series, we will look at the middle section of Ephesians to see God's instruction on on how lasting transformation takes place in our lives. As we begin to put these words into practice, we lay down our old selves and step into a new life focused on Christ.
Change That Sticks | Embrace the New (Eph. 4:22–24)
On Sunday, Pastor Danny emboldened us to release the habits of the old self and embrace the new; to fix our eyes on the goodness of God and let the Spirit transform our minds.
Change That Sticks | Remain Coachable (Eph. 4:17–19)
This week, Pastor Dale acknowledged our tendency to harden our hearts—encouraging us to remain ‘coachable’ before God, who delights in transforming us.
Change That Sticks | Listen to the Right Voices (Eph. 4:11-16)
Danny continued the series this week by explaining how finding Change that Sticks can't be done alone. It takes inviting the right voices into our lives, people who will walk with us and speak truth in love.
Change That Sticks | Receive Your Purpose (Eph. 4:1–7)
This Sunday, Pastor Dale shared the good news that our purpose is not invented but received through the Spirit of God working within us, and the training of our minds.
Change That Sticks | Dream Big, Pray Big (Eph. 3:14–21)
Pastor Dale kicked off the series with the encouragement that transformation does not begin with behavior modification. It begins with intimate relationship with our God— who is able to do immeasurably more than we could imagine.
