December 2025 Update

The campus project continues to move forward, and we’re grateful to share that significant progress is being made behind the scenes. Teams made up of staff, elders, volunteer members, and our design partners have now officially entered the final design phase with our architect firm, E2a, and the site planners at HMH. Their administrative ramp-up is underway, and beginning February 1 our engagement with them will intensify as we refine the conceptual drawings and translate them into detailed plans. Our programming team, responsible for determining how spaces will serve ministry and community needs, has already met and begun identifying areas that will need refinement during this phase.

We know the question of timing is on everyone’s mind. We are committed to walking through this process with patience, wisdom, and diligence so that we honor those involved and get this project right. We anticipate our team’s direct participation in the design process to take place from February through May. After that, plans will be submitted to the town for review, at which point we will follow their schedule and process. As shared previously, the entire design phase may take up to nine months from the February 1 start date. It may take longer, it may be shorter. There are too many variables at this point to confidently provide a target date.

When completed, this design process will provide the blueprints, permits, and CUP modifications needed to proceed with the unencumbered sale of the back parking lot and construction to begin at our discretion. This is a major milestone, and we ask you to continue praying for our staff, elders, volunteers, and design partners as they lead this complex and important work.

Additionally, the property sale team met with our contracted Land Use Attorney, who helped clarify the CUP modification process that lies ahead. We are encouraged by his expertise and feel great assurance in his ability to be a strong advocate, guiding us as we enter that stage with the town.

We are genuinely excited about the progress being made, and deeply grateful for your continued support. Please keep praying: for wisdom, unity, and clarity for everyone involved.

Our desire remains that 100% of us participate in the launch gift, with each person giving their best gift toward the future of our campus. We long for every individual and family to be able to say with joy and ownership, “We were part of that.”
