March 2026 Update

Significant progress continues to be made on our campus, both in meetings and behind the scenes.

Our Site and Landscape partner, HMH, is currently leading extensive due diligence and site surveying. In order to prepare the detailed plans required for town approval and future construction, we need a comprehensive understanding of the property. This includes:

  • Arborist reports assessing the health and size of all 126 trees on campus

  • Underground utility mapping (gas, water, and electrical, you may have noticed the paint markings around campus)

  • Property line verification to ensure no encroachment on neighboring properties

  • Topographic surveys to document slopes and elevations across the site

The rainy month of February put a slight delay on these surveys, and HMH is targeting mid – end of April to complete the site plans in preparation to submit to the town for initial review.

At the same time, HMH is compiling an Opportunities and Constraints Report, incorporating input from our programming team. This report evaluates the trade-offs of each design option, financially, spatially, and functionally, so we can move forward wisely and strategically.

Meanwhile, our Design and Construction Team meets weekly to identify upcoming challenges and address them proactively. Dale, Danny and Elder Chairman Chris Izor, also meet weekly to review overall project progress and anticipate key decisions ahead.

We also launched the second round of fundraising at Night of Vision and Prayer, where multi-year pledge gifts are now available. Between now and December 2027, our goal is 100% participation from everyone who calls Calvary home as we work toward fully funding the remaining $6.3M needed for the project.
